When we are misaligned, the weight of gravity forces our body to recruit muscles for balance, and to support our weight.
A misaligned spine, or poor body balance, distorts the alignment of bones, creating chronic muscle tension and spasm, resulting in a chronic, stressful state to the body Loss of vital lung capacity, increased fatigue, reduced blood and oxygen to the brain, limited range of motion, joint pain, hip pain, a variety of pain syndromes, reduced mental alertness, and decreased productivity at work are all common things we see resulting from these full body imbalances.
When you function in a structurally balanced frame, this reduces your body’s unnecessary effort and strain. When you are properly balanced, you feel healthier, have more energy, and move more gracefully.
But that’s only the tip of the iceberg. More importantly, you function better because your structure dictates function. Feeling better and having more energy is a byproduct of your body functioning better. Proper body balance and alignment ranks at the top of the health priority list, just as important as eating right, exercising, getting proper rest and proper detoxification. Without proper alignment, you cannot truly be physically fit. In fact, you actually damage your spine every time you exercise in an unbalanced frame. You are only as healthy as your body is aligned and balanced.
