Whether you are in the middle of a health crisis or you want to maintain your good health, we’ll meet you where you are and take you where you want to go. We are here to help you become the best version of you.
Your First Visit
If you haven’t visited us before, please print and complete the paperwork before your scheduled appointment time. This will allow the doctor to spend more focused time with you reviewing your health history. In addition to your paperwork, please bring with you any x-rays or MRI reports you may have. We also encourage you to read Dr. Millman’s ebook before your first visit, so you can have a better understanding of our unique chiropractic care and what you can expect.
Your first visit is focused on gathering the necessary data to determine if our care will be effective for you. Combined with a thorough consultation with Dr. Millman, structural and postural diagnostic assessments will determine if you have an imbalance resulting in any dysfunction. This assessment measures the three-dimensional postural misalignment and is only practiced by QSM3 credentialed practitioners.
This three-dimensional measurement is important in determining how much stress your body is having to compensate for. Based on the data obtained from you examination, we are able to provide the specific spinal correction, if needed. X-rays are not acquired on site. If x-rays are necessary, we will provide you an appropriate referral before any procedure is performed.
Your Second Visit
It is recommended to evaluate how the body responded to the alignment presented within 24-48 hours from your first correction. At that time, we will collectively determine the best plan of action for your healing and review your short and long term options.
Your Most Important Visit
Within the first two weeks of care, all new patients are to attend a New Patient Orientation class. The class is held on Wednesday or Thursday evenings at 6:30pm. The class lasts one hour. Those people who will support you during your healing journey are encouraged to attend with you. This class is crucial to understanding your healing journey and what to expect along the way.
Reservations are required.
Follow Up Visits
Our goal is for your body to maintain balance and alignment for as long as possible. After all, it’s the time spent in the balanced state that promotes health and healing, not the number of times you can be adjusted.
Future visits are important in determining if you held your spinal alignment. This is determined by measuring the degree of imbalance at every visit. If we determine there’s a structural imbalance, then, and only then, is a spinal correction warranted. As you stabilize, the time between visit intervals becomes longer as your body heals and becomes stronger. “Fine tuning,” or maintenance, is recommended to encourage an alignment routine to continue your active healing process.
